I have read and really enjoyed "The Courage to start" by John (the penguin) Bingham. And Running like a girl, by Alexandra Hemming.
Anyone got any other recommendations for me?

I read Scott Jurek one, for the recipes mostly I have to say. Running like a girl is a popular one hereabouts. I've got some cheapo Kindle ones about running to lose weight etc. One I like, and it's only short, is The Fat Girls Guide to Running. She has a Facebook page blog type thing as well with a 10 k running plan, which is well worth a read.
Not that I will ever be attempting an ultra marathon if my current performance is anything to go by, but I really enjoyed Born to Run.
Hi you could try Running with the Pack by Mark Rowlands. Very philosophical with funny elements! Enjoy
once a runner
Samantha Murphy "Real Women run" - very practical - takes on board that most people have shopping, cooking, work etc to deal with in their lives as well as running
Run fat bitch run- Ruth fields got me going out there... but also What I talk about when I talk about running by haruki murakami is a good one...
I really enjoyed 'Amazing adventures of dietgirl' which is about weight loss/exercise/running love and life in general
Thank you all
