I've just read, Haruki Murakami - What I Talk About When I Talk About Running and was hoping to get some more reading in!
Any good books on running that people have read? - Couch to 5K

Born to Run: The Hidden Tribe, the Ultra-Runners, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen
Christoper McDougall...it is superb!
Running Free of Injuries by Paul Hobrough is excellent... as apparently is his upcoming one: The Runner’s Expert Guide to Stretching. Reading is training too... and what better to read about than how to prevent injury and get your muscles in shape to get you running easier, and possibly quicker?

If you want to understand what is happening to your body when you run The Runner's Body by Ross Tucker and Jonathan Dugas is an excellent, detailed but accessible read.
I have read 'no run intended' and 'run intended' and they are quite funny, but I felt more connected to the one in 'runs like a girl' - it is a much shorter story but half of it is tips and useful info.
They are both true stories of couch to marathoners and are pretty good and honest. It depends what you want out of a book really! I like a good story, although there are some things in them that might put you off a little, so maybe not if you are easily swayed. It is also important to have the phiciological information of the other books! I think I might go for a slightly more serious one next time! (or 'how to make yourself poo' ! Suits me really!!)
I loved Murakami's book. So I'll suggest: two books by Richard Askwith, Running Free and Today We Die a Little (the latter a biography of Emil Zatopek, far superior to your average sport bio and with something even for the non-runner/competer) and Boff Whalley's Run Wild.
I read ‘Jog On’ by Bella Mackie recently. I’m running for my mental health and she started running to cope with severe anxiety. I found it really inspiring.
