A slightly odd question, but is there anyone else on here who runs in the Stoke on Trent area? My usual 2 or 3 haunts are always full of runners with headphones in, and I can't help but wonder who else of them is listening to Laura, just like me!!

Do you? Fantastic! Where abouts do you run? I'm based in Burslem so I run around Westport lake and the canal from Middleport to Etruria. And well done on week 4! I'm not far ahead- today I did run2 of week 5 for the second time, am probably going to do it once more before attempting the biggie!
I run through apedale at the moment, and if I'm running in the evening I run up the a34 along liverpool road as it's nice and flat! Westport lake sounds like a nice run its lovely there! I may try bathpool aswell. Is anyone aiming for a 5k running event or going onto the 10k? I've seen various park run events etc.
Aww lovely! Glad there's a few of us! I'm considering bath pool too- possibly even this afternoon. Westport is very lovely, but gets a bit repetitive! With regard to 5k 10k etc, I've no idea at the moment. I'm just focussing on the next run.
Yeah that's probably the best way! I'm doing week 5 run 2 later today which I may have to repeat before the bigger run 3 as it was my birthday yesterday and I feel guilty for going out for a meal and eating birthday cake lol!
Haha no need to feel guilty- treat your run as allowing you to deserve the odd treat. Good luck with run 2, and enjoy it! I finished Week 3 last week (yesterday did Week 6 run 1) and it was a great week for me, but the one where I most struggled to trust the programme. I repeated run 2 twice, and was going to do it a third before people on the forum convinced me just to go out and give run 3 a bash, and I'm so glad I did! You'll manage it just fine, I'm sure. Enjoy!
