So 12 days on from my last post I am Imodium free and in a state of sweaty euphoria having just completed the dreaded w5r3. Thank you to this forum and particularly to Cloudchaser for the inspirational Finding Nemo mantra "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming"- it worked (especially in the rain earlier this week!) and I'm now adopting it for life in general... Seriously all the positive comments were brilliant and so true. I shocked myself by actually enjoying it (well the sun was shining in a blue sky with fluffy white clouds and the endorphins were kicking in) and am now actually looking forward to W6!! So to anyone dreading this milestone, you really can do it - the programme works.

Just keep swimming! W5r3 jangles revisited

Hi Cazmagoo, I am so happy for you!! Running is as much a mental hurdle as a physical one and for me, I found that this programme changed my attitude to challenges in my life in general. For you it's 'just keep swimming', for me it's 'just breath, take your time and breath'. Keep going and I look forward to you getting that graduate badge.
Well done! It's my next run - just done W5R2 half an hour ago, and I know it's just a mind thing now. I'm going to adopt the just keep swimming mantra too. And isn't it great running in the sunshine? Today is my first run when it hasn't been raining!
Greenstar you can do it if I can! It's weird how it just receded in my mind to a bothersome task I just had to get on with without procrastinating. Let's hope for more of the sunny stuff - it makes such a difference as you say - good luck on your next run x

Well done Cazmagoo! You should be really proud of yourself!
