Started off well but last 5 minutes was big struggle. HAD to reduce speed for last 2 minutes...but did finish jogging! Face was like a beetroot and I think the gym staff were worried lol! Not looking forward to next run...
Week 4 run 1: Started off well but last... - Couch to 5K
Week 4 run 1

It's ok.....just listen to your body. ..whenever you feel too tired or winded just slow down...it doesn't matter how slow...just keep jogging. .YOU GOT THIS!!

Yes I agree. Speed is not an issue. Completing the run gives you confidence to go on. So go at your speed & don't worry about the next run. These runs have the habit of surprising you.

Thanks for the support! It's appreciated....
Hi, I did his one in Tuesday and yes theist five minute run was exhausting, but I slowed down a little ....will be be doing run 2 tomorrow cause I'm a bit under the weather today...
We did it once we can definitely do it again!!!

If I reduce my speed any more I'd be going backwards and I've recently graduated! Keep at it everyone.

Even walking backwards it beats sitting on the 'couch' !!! Thanks for your encouragement...it does help. Will post tomorrow when I have done it ( positive thinking)!!
I've just done this today and found it a real struggle. I've managed all previous weeks without stopping or slowing down, today I managed both the 3 minutes, the first 5 minute, but the last 5 minute I just found it so hard to keep going and resulted to walking the last minute. Disappointed, but I think instead of going onto run 2, I'll do this again until I complete it. Any tips? I find my breathing is a problem, it has improved, but I get out of breath so quick!
