I think we need to take a break. It's just not working for me. I've changed, you've changed...we want different things now. It's nothing you've done, honestly, you've been great, it's just...well...we've just grown apart... I'm so sorry Laura, I know you've been there for me through thick and thin, but (and I once defended you on this point...) your week 8 and 9 music is truly shocking! I've tried, I really have, but this morning I ran with MY music and well...(icy pavements and water logged fields notwithstanding!) it was better. I'm sure our paths will cross again (c25k + podcasts I hear are very good), but for now, it's ... Goodbye. It was great while it lasted. (*Stifled sob*).
It's not you, it's me...: I think we need to... - Couch to 5K
It's not you, it's me...
haha, while I haven't listened to any podcasts just yet, this is just beautiful!
Stay strong... no checking her FB page or txting - you need a clean break...it's kindest that way
I think it's treachery! No good will come of it. Laura won't have you back once you've rebuffed her. She's not the forgiving sort. Are you a man (woman)or a munchkin. Dreadful music is just grist to the mill. The more you endure, the stronger you become. I was running with Laura this morning, and she sent me to the top of the class. Ner I had to laugh! I actually was pleased to hear Julie the other day! I came back from injury and when that came on I was really chuffed. I thought I'd never see the day. I thought I'd had enough of Julie! Tee hee Does running turn us into nutters?
This made me laugh as did the other 4 replies...... we are all nutters! Poor Laura, I wonder if she ever reads these messages. I'm sure the music was not of her doing but either with her or without we are all out there jogging and sobbing! x
Note to self - don't get fit enough to pay attention to the music.
As a fan of house I love pod runner - so when I graduate it's back to the PR
Hilarious! I abandoned the lovely Laura a while back when she was yammering at me double speed and I couldn't shut her up. I now break things up mentally into time slots and listen to my own music or a Radio 4 podcast/play thingy.
