You know how sometimes we call running without music or podcasts 'running naked'? Well, I've just come across this: naturistfoundation.org/BH5K...
Anyone entering?! All power to them though - I definitely couldn't/wouldn't!
Shrieks of laughter! DEFINITELY NOT my scene! Maybe one for cheeky Dan though?
But this is how I do ALL my runs. I was wondering why that car with flashing blue lights kept chasing me????
Big hug to you for making us all smile!
So now you're telling us that all the talk of lycra onesies was just designed to put us off the scent....as it were....
Lol you never let us down !
No costumes!! And ladies may wish to wear a sports bra. What about the jiggling bits on the chaps, does this not hurt?
Not for me I think. Strangely enough my brain is trying to work out how I would feel running around in a bra with no bottoms on ??? For some reason that feels weirder in my head than completely naked. Who would of thought.
My feelings exactly rfc! All or Nothing..as my fave band used to sing!
Gosh. The thought of unfettered body parts hitting other runners in the face or tripping them up is pretty hideous. I think I'll pass.
Madame Truffe was only saying to me the other day how liberating it is to be charging through the woods with the sun on your flesh and unfettered by walking boots and rain coats, but that is going a bit too far. I have had enough close calls with trailing brambles to think that is just too risky, thank you very much.
Gosh - how... erm... shoes, socks and sports-bra -its quite a thought. (My sister has done the Edinburgh moonwalk a few times, but this is a whole new dimension)
I was relieved to hear sports bra could be worn - trust me, that's vital equipment for me.
I've got my astroglide for avoiding wetsuit chafe - I guess it would work for thigh chafe.
No problem with nudity, big problem with British weather - think I will miss this
OMG! Hell no!!
Although I have very few wobbly bits, my body is a temple:-))
Fantastic... You can tell exactly what they are running to do in those trees!!! Good for them, there isn't enough fun out there , so why not eh!!!
We have a naked bike ride here in York and it's very popular! My husband would be up for naked running, but it's not for me. There's way too much jiggling going on while I'm running already for my liking. It takes all sorts though, good for them.
Danzargo you never let us down !!
I prefer running with a buff...not IN the buff
I forwarded this to a friend who runs and goes to naturist beaches so I thought this would be right up his street (sorry for that!) but his response was no he wouldn't do it because of the ticks! Ouch!
Ahem, I must tell you that running, all sheets to the wind, to keep warm on a naturist beach in France was how I first got the idea that I might like to try running more seriously. That was in summer 2011, I started C25K in Jan 2012 and the rest is history! And I can attest, from personal experience, that there is no problem at all with gentlemen's accoutrements jiggling about and hurting. I can see that it might be different for ladies but, in the right situation and climate, running properly naked has a lot going for it
Hey All, I used to run with music because i reckoned it took my mind off any pain or aches when running...
might even try running 'naked' if you know what I mean? ! Happy weekend running to you all
Today was my first run naked - that is, without the NHS C25K podcasts. I am aiming to do my first parkrun...
