Parkrun first time

Well after a bad 4 weeks leading up to Christmas (Hip pain followed by chest infection severely hampered my training) I have just completed my first 5km parkrun with a self recorded time of 29:50. Very happy with that and glad a I did the parkrun, a great atmosphere and the peer pressure helps to keep me going when I may have eased back had I been running solo.

That's a great time, well done! :-)

I too am another one still dreaming of under 33 minutes, let alone under 30 but will get there in the end (just wasn't to be on Christmas Day parkrun and I am working early shift today :-( )

Gordon Bennet Sinbad, that's incredible. Well done indeed. 29'50 is a titanic time to be proud of. I have yet to try a ParkRun as I enjoy the solitude on my outings, but perhaps one day....

WELL DONE once again!
