I only heard of parkrun in this forum. I graduated 6 weeks ago and attempted my first Parkrun in Tring, Hertfordshire today. I was confident l will make it, which l did in 30.46mins and came 112th out of 220 runners. But l walked twice. The park is quite hilly which l was not aware of and it was a challenge. My next goal is to complete the run. I will take it slowly but l am confident that in a couple of month l will achieve. I run without music and did not have to check my timing. It was a nice change and seeing other runners were quite motivating. Thank you for everyone who introduced Parkrun to me and l do recommend to those who have not tried it yet.

Wow. Congratulations. You are running a very impressive time there. Amazing result for your first Parkrun. You should be very proud. I love Parkrun. I was a volunteer today at Parkrun, I was a timer, even being involved as a volunteer is great fun.
Wow! That's an impressive time. I am usually around 50 mins. Am on Week 5 of C25K so did my run at Parkrun yesterday. Love doing it there as so much encouragement.
