Completed and I'm over the moon. Graduate badge applied for.

Did my final run in the dark after work today. 30 mins 4k, so hey! I have to work on my speed. I'm happy with that and I'm also pleased that on run9.2 I kept on going and did 5k in 38 mins. My new goal in to do the 5k in 30 mins by Christmas.

I know everyone says it, but I was thrilled when I'd completed week 1 and I never thought I'd get this far. But with a little determination, and everyone's support, it can be done.

I'm 49 and mildly asthmatic. If I can do it ....

Great programme and great forum, although I did abandon Laura in the final week because I couldn't take 'You and Julie' any more. But thanks Laura, you got me that far.

And so, to the shower...

Don't be in a hurry to get to the 5k/30mins mark.. just take it slowly and enjoy yourself. Knocking 8 minutes off your PB in 4 weeks could potentially leave you prone to an injury, so don't push yourself. You have the rest of your life to improve, don't rush it!!

Thanks for the tip Narmour. I have to say I have no idea whether it's a sensible goal or not. After all I would never have betted on getting this far.

I'll see how it goes.
