Completed the final run of Week 9 earlier this morn π, but wow did I find it hard! I haven't been so relieved to stop since the two 10 minute runs in week 6, which I so wrongly thought would be a breeze after the 20 mins at the end of week 5! I set out quite confidently today and I'm now used to those gremlins for the first 5 - 10 minutes telling me I wont be able to make it, but I had to fight them all the way this time, even in the last few minutes, "... just stop and have a rest now, you've given it a good shot, you're not feeling good today, you can always have another try on Monday..." they were telling me, but I slowed down a bit, pushed on and I did it!! I think I'm quite close to the 5k mark and so I think that will be my next goal - complete the full 5k and then try and complete 5k in 30 mins. Thanks to all those on this forum who have shared their own experiences and particularly to those who have offered me some encouragement or made me smile and even laugh along the way!
Did it!! But it was tough!!: Completed the final... - Couch to 5K
Did it!! But it was tough!!
well done you should be really pleased with yourself. Don't worry about the 5k in 30 minutes I still can not do that although I did my 1st 10k run yesterday. Slowly build on the distance but more importantly enjoy you runs π
Well done!
Congratulations. The podium is very busy today πππΌ

Congratulations!
Congratulations! You stuck at it and have completed the programme!
Now you can please yourself and plan all sorts of lovely new running adventures!
Wow, well done you! You can now plan some running adventures because 30 minutes gives you a lot more scope. I love running in the woods at this time of year, so lovely and cool. Watch that your legs are ok if you run on hard surfaces and if needed search out some soft ground. What next??
Well done! It's a great week for graduating ! I've had a couple of post grad runs and can now do 4K in 33 minutes ... Slow and steady is the name of the game!
Brilliant ! Many Congratulations to you and Happy Running ! xxx
Big congratulations. You should be very proud of yourself. Keep running and it will get easier I hope!(not graduated myself yet)
Well done xx
