Completed the final run of Week 9 earlier this morn 😀, but wow did I find it hard! I haven't been so relieved to stop since the two 10 minute runs in week 6, which I so wrongly thought would be a breeze after the 20 mins at the end of week 5! I set out quite confidently today and I'm now used to those gremlins for the first 5 - 10 minutes telling me I wont be able to make it, but I had to fight them all the way this time, even in the last few minutes, "... just stop and have a rest now, you've given it a good shot, you're not feeling good today, you can always have another try on Monday..." they were telling me, but I slowed down a bit, pushed on and I did it!! I think I'm quite close to the 5k mark and so I think that will be my next goal - complete the full 5k and then try and complete 5k in 30 mins. Thanks to all those on this forum who have shared their own experiences and particularly to those who have offered me some encouragement or made me smile and even laugh along the way!
