Completed run 3 week 9 yesterday with the early morning sun hanging low over Levenhall lagoons like a medal. It's taken me 6 months (injuries/holidays) but I used to tell myself I 'wasn't a runner'. Now, at 50, I know I am cos Laura says so very happy with my achievement and looking forward to first post grad run tomorrow.
I did it!!: Completed run 3 week 9 yesterday... - Couch to 5K
I did it!!
Well done!!! Sounds very romantic the way you described it haha any tips for those, like me, that are still in the early weeks? x
Hi mainly to go easy on yourself. ..I had a mental block at the end of week 5 or 6, when the long run kicks in. I kept putting it off, then one Monday morning I just went for it and did it. The feeling of confidence was amazing and got me through the rest of the weeks. The plan works and we can do it ... good luck with the remaining weeks
Thank you =) Thats great advice! xx
Congratulations Promqueen! What an amazing achievement. Good luck with your running life post C25K!
Well done Promqueen. Make sure you get your Graduate Badge! I can't see it next to your
photo
Now you can move on, still with Laura, to the post C25k podcasts. There are three of them for you to have a go at. That little lot will keep you busy for a week or 3! Good luck
Thanks misswobble and Jenwrenarm! It would be good to hear Laura bigging me up still, though I do need a break from her choice of music!
Congratulations , happy running
Well done Promqueen!! It's amazing how Laura's managed to make runners of us all! I've had a little listen to the C25K+ plans and the music's better as it's by Audiofuel, so that should give you hope.......
I think if you can put up with the music then everything else in life is just a doddle! LOL
Rockette to get your badge you have to click on the Green Help button at the top of the page and then send them an email to ask for it. Good luck
