Well done - I thought I was going to die in the last three minutes!!! But I did my second week 3 run last night and it was easier, so hopefully you'll find that too. Remember to pace yourself - and don't forget to enjoy that hill-billy song to get you in the mood for the final run!!! :-)

I think roadrunner168 and I are on the same schedule lol! I am doing W3R3 tomorrow night and as I have written that I guess I'm committed to do it and report in :) You can see from my post that my first run this week was pretty tough too but the second is much better. I think it's the mental hurdle and learning to adjust speed. Keep us posted!! :)

I take my hat off to all of you. Many never get as far as you do, particularly starting at this time of year, but rest assured, you WILL be fine with it.

I remember doing my W3 earlier this year, and it can seem daunting; but I did it and I now run 4 to 5 time a week for 6k at a time. I came at it as a cancer surviving nearly 50 year old, and a determination to achieve it before 50 arrived, which it now has done.

I was s sprinter at school back in ther 13th century, but I have never beena distance runner. In fact I set a new course record at the inter-house games one year for the longest time ever taken on the cross-country course*; but have managed this plan. If I can do it, so can you, and please let us know haow it went.

* OK, I did spend some time sitting down watching sky larks lifting from the fields...

Week 3 looming for me but you've proved that you can do it and are seeing the beneficial results - well done and keep it up. We're right behind you!

I'm dreading my week 3 run 1 on friday. Just completed last run on week 2 and with the wind against me it was tough but didnt stop! so proud couldnt even breath at one point due to wind. slightly annoyed as know i could have done better if the wind wasnt against me but i have to learn to run in all conditions. nervous about the 3 min run and my running buddy keeps 'pushing herself' and seems to have an injury. But i keep saying i am doing this! I havent really lost anything tho..2lb and on slimming world. measure myself tho yesterday and will see if theres a difference. good luck everyone! x

All done!! The first 3 minute run, I could have so easily given up :( Not sure why I felt like that.

excuse for not attempting a run - I’ll never go! I went....and had the best run yet! I loved that...

Wk3R1 done - tired but happy!

Well, it appears I can run for 3 minutes without dying - in fact without too much trouble physically

WK3R1 scared!!!

Starting week 3 tonight, and the thought of running for 3 minutes straight is making me feel nervous
