I was going to have a extra rest day. & do it tomorrow with it being a Sunday & I was doing a extra shift at work , but when I got in from work & saw glorious sun & lovely blue sky's I thought I'm off ! Completed it no problems to report apart from why are the first 5 or so min the hardest , I allways think , god I'm not going to do it , then something just kicks in & just keep going & feel ok .

Wey well done you! I did my week 8 run one today and like you wasn't planning on it been sick all week but got my ass out the house and to the gym and low and behold I did it totally agree with you that the first 5 mins are awful but i just don't look at the time and stick my music in my ears and say i will look after this song and then after the next and it goes on for about 8 songs and then i realise i have actually completed it!

I know I can't wait then again I will have to find a new goal! I think I will start the program again but run outside once a week which I can't do because I hate the cold burning down my throat and then do speed work 2 times a week on the treadmill and maybe a long run I just love the feeling after I have completed a run its just euphoric! Best feeling in the world! Also my toned belly and perkier bum is a bit happier too!!

Well done Rockette! The start is always a hard however when the heart gets pumping and your legs loosen up it all gets a bit easier.

I agree with you on first five mins. My legs feel like iron. But then something kicks in. Good to be on the journey with you. Well done.

Well done Rockette - you've done amazing. I really struggled today but reading your post and Mum2 has made me a bit more positive.

Yes Jen , I'm finding these runs tougher , but I do believe like a lot say , it's a mental thing . I think we can't belive in ourselves in that we r running for these times , I for one never thought I'd be running for 25 mins ! , it's rare I walked them a lately ! Yes we can do it , we will soon be there , keep up the good work .
