I got up & was out of house at 6.10 this morning , I went to bed early because I am working today , completed run , damn ankle sore again after run , hope it doesn't let me down at this stage , it's fine after ibrufen . Any way nearly there .

Well done Could you take ibrobufen before run or run gel on to try and prevent pain I just done wk8 r1 We ran parkrun route but hour before proper run just to see how far we would get round in the 28 mins(3k) Thenwe watched parkrun in cafe with scone and coffee! Trying to gear myself up to actually do real parkrun Hope ankle ok
No didn't take anything because I read somewhere not to run on ibrufen , but that's a good idea to rub the gel on pre run . I will do that next weekend what u have done , get to park do the park run to try it , then sit & chill in cafe , Another good idea .
I think we just have to have confidence to give park run a go even if we have to walk some of it at end Really nobody's going to care how slow we are In fact I sure the people there will admire us for giving it a go --- and we can only improve on time Let us know how you get on
Well done hope your knee gets better =] my plan was to go out after work to do my run 3 however i seem to have picked up some leg pain after my last run so think it will be a tomorrow jobby! Have a great day at work knowing you have achieved something awesome =D

Well done. Sounds like you had a better run 2 than I did. I like the idea of a park run and I might do that next week too.
Have I done your r2 ? Have u posted on here ? Park run , I daren't , looked at results today & slowest was 28 mins ! Lol + a another 20 min on that for me ha ha
Well done you , I tried my run two on Friday but stopped at 25mins as thigh and back hurt , but back out again tomorrow morning to redo it . We're nearly there!!
