I'm so flipping proud of myself right now!! Just completed the first run of week 4 and was dreading it a little bit because I've seen a few posts on here saying that they couldn't complete this run, but I bloomin smashed it and I feel amazing! The first 5 minute run was a killer but I found concentrating on my breathing and holding my core muscles tight really helped take my mind off it. Not so much trouble with not being able to catch my breath more the pain in my calves - time for new trainers I think. And no stitch!

I'm running away from the threat of diabetes and towards getting back into my favourite jeans!!

Well done you - a brilliant achievement. I went for a gait analysis and new trainers at Week 4 and I found it made such a difference. Good luck for the rest of Week 4 xx
