Brilliant run today. It was my first official 10k race. The best part was the nice steep hill up St Vincent Street !!!. I nailed it, no stops. So pleased with my time too. The atmosphere was great and the whole event so well run.

Am even wondering what's next

Well done! Looks like we both had 10km's with steep hills! I'll be blogging about mine soon.

Well done! A great time too! I quite enjoyed St Vincent Street as well but not nearly as much as finishing!

It wasn't as bad as I had expected and at the start of the race kept the pace reasonable. Having done 5k round Arthur's Seat the hills there are worse!

Well done Burstcouch, good time too. Loved your picture of the hill on your other post, looked impressive to say the least. :)

Well done, burstcouch on your first 10K run, I enjoy the atmosphere of organised races, but think I feel a bit claustrophobic in such a huge crowd.

Great time especially considering that beast of a hill! Respect!

That`s a great time, burstcouch, I can only dream.

Yesterday was my first 10k too, 1h 28m.

Vincent street was brutal but I managed to run the whole way.

Loved the wee bit to the tall ship and the run into Glasgow Green.
