Had a great time yesterday at my third 10k doing the Great Scottish Run. Brilliant atmosphere, well organised, never enough toilets, so what's new!

My time was 1.02 and has been my best so far. Did anyone else take part

Oh I would love to do a HM, but so far 10k is enough for me. saying that I used to think 5k was hard work and running for 1 minute at the start of C25K. Not great when you have an injury. My right hip has been playing up for the first time ever, since the 10k, so have not run since Sunday and taking co codamol.

Considering it. In saying that, the longest distance I have run so far is 11.5k! But I will build up to it.

Good idea, I keep saying that but not been able to get by 12.5km yet.

I didn't but my daughter did - thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and now aiming for the HM next year. She came in just after you at 1.04. Very well done to you.

MCG house. Are you thinking of doing the 10 next year? I never thought I could do it but that was my third time. Don't know if I am brave enough like your daughter to run a HM.

Considering it BC, gives us something to aim for. :)

You could do it. If a 56 year old not so slim can do it, anyone can.

That's a fab bit of bling and what a fab time too! Many congratulations Burstcouch. You must still be buzzing.

I am still buzzing, but my right hip is buzzing too with pain. Not run since and getting frustrated as I want to wear my finishers t shirt!
