Im new to all this. So fed up with being over weight . I started power walking 5 weeks ago. Now its getting darker i dont want to put myself at risk. Tonight i pick up a treadmill. Gohng to sy this couch to 5k . Excited

Good luck there will be good runs and bad runs but you will be amazed at what your body can do. Take it easy and stick to the 3 days a week. Beware it's addictive

Good luck! You're going to love it, I'm also overweight and hadnt exercised since school. Found the first weeks very hard but I'm now on week 7 (much to mine and everyones shock) and can say you can have complete faith in the plan. You'll also find loads of inspiring posts and advice on this forum. Enjoy
Good luck! I'm classed as 'obese' being 5"5 and weighing 13s 8lbs but I can't believe how much fitter I am (halfway through week four). My little boy is two next month so I can't use the 'I've had a baby' excuse any more. Repeat a week if you need to...I've been doing it for six weeks now but am on week four. X
Keep going. Only done two days so far. My third 'run' is today, so that will be week 1 completed. Must admit I much prefer being outside. Tried the gym for Tuesday's run and hated it. Felt very dizzy, so be careful when you get off the treadmill. Off to the great outdoors today.
