Week 7 run one done

Finished the run ok but struggled to keep running about 10 minutes in. Legs felt really heavy and just didn't want to keep moving. When I got home I realised I hadn't drunk any water at all before I went out I usually have drunk at least a litre before running and I think that was the issue. So before run 2 will make sure I don't make that mistake again and hope it makes a difference

  • Lessons learnt and all that:-). But still u completed the run-well done.

  • I'm at the same stage, got run 2 tomorrow. I've found the ones I've struggled with and felt really bad by the end are the ones where I havent drunk enough during day or gone too long without food before hand. You kept going though and got to the end which is really good. Good luck for run 2 :-)

  • Agree I always take on fluid before a run

    R2 wk 7 done today went well and two hours later feeling much better than after run 1

  • Oddly still looking forward to doing run 2 and keep thinking to myself it's only another 5 minutes to get to the 30. That can't be too much harder :)
