So yesterday, very early in a pitch-dark night, I completed week 7.
The last two runs have been a mixed bag. R2 was awful. I tried a new, really hilly route which might have been okay had I not had the bad idea to have a glass of wine the night before. Oh my. I really felt the difference. Tight and tired legs all the way. I had never before been so close to giving up on the middle of a run.
So I made sure I did plenty of water before R3 and stayed well away from alcohol. Much, much better ! That made for a really pleasant run, a little before dawn.
Now I'm really worried I'll have to go teetotal if I want to keep running ! 😮
