What a difference a day or two makes...

Well, I've just completed W5 R3 for the second time and I'm buzzing. I wasn't right on Sunday and thinking about it now, I was daft to even think about running, let alone try it twice! (I started the run once, gave up after 5 minutes, had a talk to myself and then started from scratch and then ran for 17 of the 20 minutes)

Tonight was totally different - it was difficult, it was slow (my phone's GPS is saying my average moving pace was 8 min/km and my fastest was 6min/km) and I had to slow to a near stop twice to avoid getting run over (!) but I did it. 20 minutes. Running. I struggled with week one...and now, well, WOW doesn't even come near!

Onwards and upwards to week 6 R1 on Thursday. Cannot wait!

PS I apologise to anyone in East Leeds who heard a random screaming sound as I got into the last five minutes - needed to make some noise to keep me going!

Well done! Your pace was faster than mine! Great feeling isn't it!

Well done you. Being right mentally really makes a difference. Once you are able to say goodbye to Laura, better music helps as well. Keep up the good work.
