Haven't done any hill work for many weeks so went out this morning not for my usual longer run but to just have some fun, which I did.
Off up through my favorite forest tracks and onto my loop of 800m which has 3 ups & 3 downs all quite steep but not that long. It was fun, I did push the hills but took 2 minutes recovery after each loop and did 3.
Damn I enjoyed that today, the sun was shining through the trees but most of the time it was shaded and cool, just perfect for running. Its on days like this that I wished I could do it all again but will just have to wait for Tuesday
well done - how lovely and inspiring. Did my own hill route this morning -body protesting a bit now - but it feels good knowing I am challenging my body!
Hi glad you enjoyed your run, we went out early today, park was lovely as you say with the sun coming through the trees it was very quiet with it being Sunday. Only did 3.44k, feeling sluggish, had a few glasses of wine last night, fatal going out the next morning. Off on hols on Thursday so will be running early mornings with a lovely sea breeze, can't wait. Pat
Have a wonderful holiday Pat, I'm heading off myself on 18th, I will celebrate another birthday while I'm away, but hayhoo its just a number!! Enjoy, hope your shoulder is improving
Isn't it funny that there are often a spate of good runs, then not so good but it never puts us off and that's the important thing. Positive posts are just as important as the bad one's Ianno.
Was thinking about our Malky while running up the Ups today haven't seen him for ages, did he forget to stop running at some point do you think!?! Hope all is well with him.
