I've just had the best run (3rd one after graduation). There were a few odd moments though. The first was when a lovely little dog decided she wanted to tag along. Her owner had little control over her and just kept meekly calling 'Molly', but Molly was having none of it and kept bouncing alongside me. I made the fatal mistake of patting her which encouraged her to stay with me so I had to wait while the owner finally got control. So I should really have added a minute or two to my time for stoppages.

Next, I was charging (I say charging, but just going a bit faster than my usual shuffle) up a hill and due to the heavy breathing caused by said charging, I managed to suck in a hairy fly. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to swallow and the thing tickled my gullet for the rest of the run. Oh, well at least I didn't need to make any tea! That fly was sufficient for all my protein and iron needs (ugh).

Euch - I had a run where someone asked me to run and catch their dog but hopefully I won't swallow a fly. I hope you had a nice drink to wash the taste away when you got home.

Awe that made me smile. Had a random out of control dog jump at me this morning but thankfully no fly - yet 😃
