W5 R3 - I did it!

OMG! 6 weeks ago, when I struggled to jog for 60 seconds, I could not have imagined that I could jog for 20 minutes without stopping.

I tried not to think about it all day whilst working, I knew I needed to trust the programme. And it really does work πŸ˜€

Such a fantastic sense of achievement, bring on week 6 πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

That's fantastic good for you, your confidence will grow after each run. No need to be nervous, the programme works, I graduated in June and I'm running 5k every other day πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’–

It’s a fab achievement

It feels like a milestone run but as you say this fab little plan prepares you πŸ‘

Week 6 here you come! πŸ‘πŸ‘

I didn’t like going back to the interval sessions but you might like them ... πŸ˜€

Thank you, it feels like a huge milestone!

I also feel better about eventually running for 30 minutes as I wasn’t desperate to stop as the 20 mins came to an end πŸ˜€

you did so well... W5r3 was probably one of my easiest runs of this whole programme.. but week 6 I came crashing down with a bang!.. those intervals really messed me around!.. i hated them... hopefully you will fare better :-)

Well done! It does feel great doesn’t it?! To achieve 20 whole minutes seemed such a long way away when you start the programme and struggle with 1 minute! But congratulations! Not long to go now! You be graduated before you know it!!!!

Well done. I’m doing that run tomorrow morning. At the moment it seems a huge mountain to climb after the last run which was two lots of eight minutes. Congratulations

Thank you and good luck for your run, try not to think too much about the length of the run. It is only 4 mins longer than your last run. 🀞

It's fab isn't it. That W5R3 run is the magic moment when you realise what you're achieving. I'm only 2 runs ahead of you and honestly, now you've done that run you'll be fine x

I’m sure you’ve had a heads up already but take your time. A few people seem to struggle with having an interval back in place in W6R1. You can always smash it at the end if you having plenty energy left in the tank! Good luck!

Thanks πŸ˜€

I have seen that the first run has taken others by surprise, it does seem strange to go back to intervals but I’m sure there is some method in there πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I am a very slow runner so I will take it very steady. Thank you again x
