I ran and ran and RAN in the hot sunny weather, I was very thirsty but did not carry a bottle as I was never used to carrying a bottle when running. I did not walk, ran all the way to the finished line, the full length of 5K. I tried my best but could not hit my target of running under 30 minutes; too hot, too tired, too thirsty, AND I was even hungry (Had the Porridge with Honey quite early!!) but reached the end of 5K in 31 minutes 27 seconds. Well, not all that bad, but would have been better.. I have raised £705 and I am quite pleased with the amount and my run.

Yes, I am so happy that I raised such a massive amount and glad about the race too, the whole of this C25K started because of RfL.
