Yeeeeeeeeeeeees! I had a few more meetings with dogs, but all of their owners were very considerate today. Did actually go to the same field as before as it was just too hot to fuss about finding a new one, but fortunately I didn't see the lady whose dog scared me before!
Wish that I had got out a bit earlier as I didn't enjoy the heat much, but although I was very ready to slow down at the end of the second 8 mins running, I didn't actually feel sick or anything. I am not sure if I will be able to run for 20 mins anytime soon though!
I promised myself that I would treat myself to a running app when I got to Week 5 Run 3, so I am looking forward to that if I am able to get the podcast to play on my phone (I use an iPod at the mo). I am not altogether sure now that I want to see how slowly I run in black and white though!

Stop worrying. I think everyone has thought the same about at least one of the runs, but you can do it. It doesn't matter a hoot what time you do it in as long as you complete. I managed my wk5 run3 on the "Race for Life" and it felt AMAZING. Trust the programme, Laura will be with you and TRUST YOURSELF, BUT ENJOY IT. I am also scared of the dogs in the park which are off the lead, but I keep telling myself that most people would not let the dog off the lead if it wasn't ok. This helps me get by. Happy running and good luck with the 20 minutes.
