Week 3 and all's well

Just done week 3 run 2 tonight and I'm loving it. I don't have any problems to write about so far, I guess something will pop up soon enough to trouble me. I got a great tip from Phil72 regarding Laura’s breathing tip on week 2. He says “if you want to try breathing on three instead of four then that should be better / easier” I gave it a go on both my week 3 runs and it was a lot easier. Well worth a try if you can’t manage it on every fourth step.

It's great that things are going well for you - and even if something does occur, there's plenty of support on here. Yes, the programme gets tougher, but it builds you up so you can do it, and if in doubt, just slow down a bit. You'll get there! Keep running, keep blogging, and let us know how it goes!

Well done for what you have acheived so far. I also found breathing every three instead of four a lot easier. I found I could not breathe OUT for four and found I was gasping for breath then. Keep going this is a great programme and Laura is ALWAYS there. Happy running.

I also read a blog yesterday from someone who had read that breathing through your mouth made it easier too. I tried this last night and it was a bit easier. The only drawback was that it made my mouth rather dry. Meant I drank more, so can't be all bad. Happy running.
