Bupa London 10k conquered!

Just a quicky because I am still buzzing and need to share! London 10k done and dusted this morning, what an amazing run along the river and from/to Buckingham Palace, and in the most beautiful weather we could have asked for - sunny but with a lovely breeze. Great atmosphere, well organised, not overcrowded even when waiting to start, and lots of yummy snacks and drinks in the goody bag afterwards.

Bump (11.5 weeks now) and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. (I am knackered now though)

Just awesome! Recommend it to any of you, and lots of people walking the whole thing so no silly pressure to run yourself into exhaustion.

:-)

Well done! Glad you enjoyed it. I did the mile yesterday and thought it was great. As you say, very well organised and weather perfect. Great experience.

Congratulations on your success, sounds like lovely conditions and a great location :-)

Well done. I ran (and walked) that race too, and am really feeling it today. Did you manage to see Mo Farah? I just caught sight as he flew past in the opposite direction and I'd not even got to the 2k point!

The medals are pretty cool, and I was impressed with the organisation, there were a heck of a lot of people to manage.

Still considering if I would do 10k again, I need more training!

Thanks everyone! The shiny medal is definitely a lot nicer than I expected and I'm still wearing it :-)

I think I saw Mo zoom past to the finish as I was heading towards the 2 km mark too.

Tempting to sign up for next year's but as this baby is due in the middle of December I'm a little worried i won't be able train enough in time.
