Second run of week 1

Found this very, very, very slightly easier today thank god.

This is probably done to me not reading the direction properly.

I walked for 5 mins then alternate jog for 25 mins total of 30 mins.

After reading today walk for 5 jog/walk for 15 mins totalling 20 mins.

I hope that's right

no I just use the clock on my treadmill walk at 5.2km speed for five minutes then run at 8.0km for 60 seconds and back to 5.2 for 90 seconds walk.

Not sure whether you'd had problems downloading the podcasts - but they really do help. I didn't think it would make much difference having a voice talking to me - but my goodness, it was so encouraging to hear Laura (or occasionally to swear at her!)

Disadvantages of treadmills - 1. you know how fast you are going (so most people go faster than their legs would like to be going! - my early runs were slower than my walks, not faster!) 2. they are boring, and there's not much to distract you! I think it's probably harder than running outside (though perhaps a bit easier on the legs).

Keep going! :)
