Second run (week 1)

Found my breathing easier but legs aching. Also found some good advice about asthma and have ordered a running buff, recommended, which should arrive for my third run on Friday.

Thought with all the walking I do my legs wouldn’t ache but now know that doesn't make a difference.

Also went even slower this time which helped my breathing and recovery so thank you for all your support and advice.

Just fit in what you can, as long as you keep to the 3 runs completed before moving to the next section you will be fine. Think of them as sections rather than weeks😊

That sounds better so if it takes me 9 days for the second ‘week’ it doesn’t matter?

Not at all, that would be fine 😊

Thank you, I was worried I would not be able to continue because of work.

I will, even though I am actually shuffling more than running,

Sounds like the perfect start 👍

Want to prove something to myself and my children and grandchildren. Age and excess weight is not a barrier to becoming fit!

Good on you! You’re right. They might join you when they see how good it all is.
