Well, I went for R3 after only having completed R2 yesterday. I was a bit slower today but I also lost a bit of time when my shoe lace came undone and I had to stop to re tie the lace. Also had to wait at a couple of side roads for traffic to clear before crossing.!!!Excuses excuses.
Anyway, I feel good because week 4 is in the bag.
One thing which helps me is making sure I stretch as soon as I get back indoors. It does mean that you have to add that bit of extra time to each run, but I think that it is definitely worth it.
I will definitely be resting before starting W5. As I was reminded yesterday; it doesn't matter if you get out of sync with planned runs. Sometimes it is better to let life run it's course.
Maybe I'll start W5 Sunday evening after church or wait till Monday.

They're not excuses, they're reasons Well done for successfully completing Week 4, and all the best for Week 5. You can do this! I found that i needed a bit more rest as I got towards the end of the programme but many people are much fitter than I am and didn't need to do this. Let us know how it goes.
