5x50 Part Two continues.

I just wanted to do an up date. I'm feeling tired and just wanted to write it out and reflect.

5x50 (part two)

Day 61 walk/jog on the treadmill 5k

Total tone class for 60 minutes

Swim 30 minutes

I hadn't exactly planned to do this much, but I ended up with time to kill before the exercise class, and then time to kill at the end of work before i picked up my daughter, so luckily had my swimming bag in the car and went for a swim.

Day 62 walk 5k

I was mainly in London for the walking, going to see Woman in Black.

Day 63 run 5k with 2k warmup and cool down walk

Inspired by the marathon I set off, wanting to run 5k in 30 minutes. That didn't quite happen, as my quads were aching ike crazy, probably from all the activity on Friday, but I managed it in 31.16.

Day 64 Swim 30 minutes

Tired, oh so tired!

Day 65 Swim 30 minutes

Feeling a bit stronger.

Tomorrow will be a swiss ball class.

It's all slotting into place, and now I'm back to work and the kids are back to school, a routine is finally happening.

I sleep well at night, I can tell you :)

Well that was a very busy day 61! It tends to take 2 days for tiredness to come out in the muscles, so as you said, your day 63 run was probably affected by all that other stuff - so hardly surprising you're feeling tired now!

You are amazing to keep up the pace so high for so long. :)

Day 61 might get repeated next Friday! Fit, frantic Fridays! The run was hard, although I managed to take 10 minutes off the time from the last 5k run I did back in Sydney, so I was still pretty pleased :)

This is amazing....you are a super woman :) I would love to have that time for 5km....how did you do it? What did you do to shave so much time off? I did my first real 5km today (actually 5.4km) but it took me 52 minutes!!! Really disappointed with the time, and would like some advice ;)

Don't be disappointed, how many people do you know that can run for 52 minutes??!!!

I graduated back in 2011 so I have had plenty of practice; the speed will come as you get stronger, but to be honest it makes a more enjoyable run to keep it slow and steady!

62 days non stop is impressive, are the rest of us on day 24?

I am recharging with a bag of large chocolate buttons, they're virtually health food.

You are amazing, Theresa! No wonder you're feeling a bit tired, but I hope that writing all that long list of activities inspired you to realise how well you're doing.
