Ran the first 30 min week 9 run this morning. After having issues with my spotify and trying to get my music back on, i accidentally closed the C25k app just after the half way point....major panic!!!! Good job i had Strava going counting me on evey half k! So with no idea on where i was time wise i decided to just keep going and wait till Strava told me it was 5k.... if i could get that far. I only went and did the 5k, and feeling so bloomin proud!πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Never thought I'd ever manage 5 minutes when i first started couch to 5k, so to run for 30 continuous minutes, and run for 5k feels amazing!!!!! 30:37 mins to hit the 5k mark average pace 6:07/km, and i'm more than happy with that time. I've come to the conclusion i definitely do better when i do a morning run rather than evening, think i'm just tired after a day at work etc. Still 2 more 30 min runs to go to complete Cto5k, but the finish line is in sight πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ If i can complete this ( and i was one of the biggest doubters), then you guys doubting yourself can do this to 😁

Argh I lost my app on W9R1 as well! I accidentally paused it. After half an hour started wandering when he's going to call the halfway mark... XD

Luckily same as you I had a backup- my fitbit- to keep me going till the end.

Finished the programme today, at 4.6km. Now the biggest thing I have to do is to decide how to proceed from here.

Well done for doing the 5K in half an hour, though I am slightly envious ;)

I think not really knowing time wise probably helped as the only thing i had to focus on was the half k points on Strava! If it had been evening i defintely wouldnt have got that time as i can feel myself slowing on the evenings runs. May never get that time again for 5k, but happy to get it in 30.5 mins even if it might only be the once, lol. For the last 2 week 9 runs i'm not going to get hung up on 5k, just run for 30 mins no matter how fast or how far and get to graduation!!

Good luck going forward, my plans after graduation will probably be to keep pushing to 5k on the runs (at whatever time).
