My question deals with nebulizer medicine cups. They say you have to throw them away after six months and replace them. I want to know why. I buy the Pari Star nebulizers and they are expensive. Why should I have to throw them away and replace them when there isn't a thing wrong with them? What is behind this instruction? Is it just to get us to spend more money?

Hi, I suggest you call the company who makes them why they need to be discarded after 6 months since it's their recommendation.
I use a nebulizer every day. I've thrown out NONE of my medicine cups. Why should I? They don't melt or change shapes and I sterilize/wash my equipment after EVERY use. I've never been told to throw them away. But if they did tell me to throw them away I would not hesitate to the them to place their advice "where the sun don't shine." But then again I'm a Yank and as everyone knows we are crass and uncouth. (Smile)
