chronic stiff neck

Hello everyone.

This is my first time posting, but I have read many posts from all of you and have greatly appreciated the knowledge that is shared.

I have severe COPD. My question is, can COPD cause one to have a chronic stiff neck that can be painful at times?

Has anyone experienced this?

Any input would be appreciated.

I haven’t heard of copd causing a stiff painful neck. I’m sure it is possible. I spit up a lot of phlegm that gives me a sore throat sometimes.

Thank you for your response. I have the same problem with phlegm. Sometimes I think I am getting a cold.

I suffer with stuff neck. Mine is caused because I sleep upright and slip down at night..I have 3 pillows abd can sometimes end up lopsided. To relief pain I take paracetamol, works for me xx.Sheila
