Low Dose Lung Cancer Test

Has anyone had the Low Dose Lung Cancer Test (CATScan) I believe that's what it is called---my issue is I'm allergic to the dyes they use for those test; so what else could they do or use? All help, suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated...will go in depth on my COPD-with trace aspetos & emphasemia (unsure on the spelling)...Thanks

  • I had one done and there is no dye involved.

  • Awesome then it's just like the regular catscans then (without the dye) right? Thanks & feel better now...How are these different then...

  • I have had many of them. No dye..takes less than 10 minutes.

Thanks & feel better now...How are these different then...does that mean depending on this test my lung specialist can then use the full cancer word? He can not legally use the full cancer word because I am allergic to the dyes...

  • Always, always ASK. Things change and messages or requests are often times never delivered to the right people. Ever played "the game of gossip?" Hugs.
