Just wanted to update you all about where I am with my CLL/MZL which transformed into DLBCL (still not sure if it’s Richters but definitely close) in January, 2025. I had 10 radiation treatments focused on the axial lump that was biopsied and which determined I had DLBCL, then 3 lympho depleting treatments of chemo. Tomorrow I begin the transfusion of T-cells which will hopefully fight both the CLL and the DLBCL during a 2 week hospital stay.
As I have been fighting CLL for almost 5 years and failed treatments of Acalabrutinib, Venetoclax, Pirtobrutinib and Obinutuzumab, this is apparently the best way currently to treat this wily disease. I hope so.
I would really appreciate your prayers, good wishes and any other positive thoughts you all can send my way during this next month. I am so thankful for such an amazingly supportive and compassionate group that cares about all its members.
Thanks so much. Barbara
