Everyone that's in the age bracket I guess I would say 60 up should pay attention to your teeth. I would say there are so many of us that when we were young we did not have a regular dentist visits. You would want to know if you need teeth work if at some point you're going to start on imbruvica or other types of chemo. Best to not have teeth problems when you start chemo. Also for those on this and other drugs if you can get CT scans that would be amazing information as to what's going on in your body that a blood test is not necessarily going to show. I just had 3 CT scans neck chest and abdomen and after going over the results of those I wonder how I'm even alive.

Good point oldguy!
My dentist suggested a dental clearance before FCR. I spent large part of the 6 months with severe neutropenia. What I did do - was to use my WnW time to max out my health and fitness including my dental health. Dental work - certainly when on FCR - should be avoided.
CT scans are not with out risk. 1 whole body CT gives 7 years of environmental radiation in 5 minutes. I have a had 4 so far.
