You are not alone. I know this community will be there to support you.
Do stress with your medical team how much pain you are experiencing; they should work with you to get that under control. Do you know if the lung and liver biopsies showed CLL (not unusual) or something else?
If your biopsy confirms CLL cells are in the masses, then Ibrutinib will deal with them. It may take some months, as Ibrutinib acts slowly. CLL is known for forming masses in various organs, particularly the liver. Remember CLL is one of the Non Hodgkin's Lymphomas.
Sally, may the Lord send down his healing power through the Holy Spirit. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers STAY STRONG - my sister in Christ. - J.R.

I'm in your situation a bit as well, but I have metasticised adnocarcenoma on both sides of my liver and leisons of unkown type in my lower lungs...
I had hoped that these were CLL infiltrations, but in my case it is very aggressive adenocarcinoma, from my previous colon cancer, that requires aggressive chemo immumotherapy... and that's another story.
So, take some comfort perhaps that your case is CLL and treatments like Imbruvica (ibrutinib) and others will control and hopefully end the infiltrations.
I am hoping the liver and lung problems are from your CLL and that Ibrutinib takes care of them. It has been a miracle drug for so many. At this time, it is highly suspicious that my kidney cancer (right nephrectomy 4/2016) has spread to my thyroid, lungs and pelvis. Checking brain Saturday. Then biopsies. Like Chris, I was hoping it was CLL but indications are that it isn’t. What helps me is hearing survivor stories and many people live a very long time with CLL. I am also seeing some long term survivors of metastasized kidney cancer. Best of luck and keep us posted on how you are doing.
I totally feel blessed from all the prayers that will be answered. I am scheduled for the biopsy next Friday. Due to the last biopsy I had a horrible reaction after the procedure. They are not sure what it going on with my heart. I honestly wonder if there is any organs in my body that is working correctly. I’m not sure I’ve talked about my heart. It sounds like I just keep pulling out new symptoms. If you only knew. I wish I could come up with a joke so we all could laugh but none comes to mind right now. With all my love and hugs thanks for this support group and prayers.
Will certainly be including you in my prayers every day. So sorry you have these additional cancers. Something I'm sure we're all afraid of, when it's so true that one type of cancer is more than enough to worry about. Lean on your family and good friends now for moral support. God Bless you.
