Oncologist agreed to let him re-start his imbruvica but that was before this diagnosis was confirmed. Did we luck out and maybe the imbruvica will keep this monster at bay the way it did for his CLL?

can others describe their protocol for interrupting their course of Imbruvica when taking Paxlovid? How much before did you stop taking Imbruvica and how long after finishing Paxlovid did you re-start? Thanks!

He started Imbruvica in 2021, which was replaced a few months ago with Calquence because Imbruvica was no longer providing benefits but only side effects.

I have been on Imbruvica since 2020. Recently I had a ECT at my yearly physical and it was abnormal. The ECT I had in 2019 was normal. I had a heart ultrasound which shows that I have left bundle branch block and a ef of 40%. Has anyone else experienced this? Could this be caused by Imbruvica?

hello, when I was on Imbruvica I had many UTI. This is side effects of Imbruvica. I asked my doctor to switch me for another medication and now they m on Venclecta. This is even worse. I do not have UTI anymore , but I’m already sick for Ramsay Hunt this is like Bels Pasley.

I started IMBRUVICA a few years ago and all is well so far thank goodness. What I’m wondering is: it seems from what I’ve gathered here that V and O is fixed term and causes remission back to watch and wait while those of us on IMBRUVICA are on it indefinitely.

i was diagnosed in 2017 cll.I been on imbruvica since march 2022 and i must say my numbers are great,im healty,work every day and see my oncologist every 3 mos.

my husbands blood work did not come back good after being great for over 5 years on Imbruvica. Oncologist ordered a Pet Scan since he has never had one. Just CT scans. And more comprehensive blood work. To say I’m a mess is an understatement.

my brother has been taking imbruvica for many years, and I have noticed negative psychological effects. Irritability factors, temper, issues, Etc These could be simply age related as he is moving into his seventh decade. Any thoughts?

Also he saw an article suggesting immunotherapies called Venclexta & imbruvica. Hope my thoughts don’t get me burned at the stake! Im genuinely looking for treatments which are not bad in side effects and have a positive effect on keeping the CLL at bay.

Went into remission for a year but then lymph nodes started to return Imbruvica was just approved by FDA was on imbruvica for 5 year. Went into remission again for two years.

was put on Imbruvica at first. side effects were very bad. Shingles, ( felt like a truck ran over my leg) had 2 lymph glands removed. etc. after 3 yrs. it just stopped working.

He was on IMBRUVICA daily about 4 years ago but the dose was gradually lowered and the drug was stopped about 2 and a half years ago because of side effects.

Does this max apply to Imbruvica ? If not, then is there a max for Specialty drugs? Thanks

After initial relapse from Chemotherapy started IMBRUVICA in 2016 until February 2023. Had to stop due to health issues. After 9 months of no treatment it's back like a bad dream. Pre-Mutation stage so just started Brukinsa, like today.
