Paxlovid and Imbruvica

I had to stop Imbruvica on Tuesday so I could take Paxlovid for Covid from Wednesday-Sunday. These two meds shouldn’t be taken together. I just took my last dose of Paxlovid. I want to restart Imbruvica, but am wondering how long it takes for Paxlovid to clear the body.

Gazyva and Venclexta

Imbruvica, which has worked well for 2 1/2 years has stopped working and WBC are climbing. Next week I will begin Gazyva (infusions) and Venclexta. Has anyone else been on this regime and what info can you share about it? Thanks.

cost of Imbruvica

Well, Medicare paid $12,000 a month on my first five months on Imbruvica, and a health foundation covered the remaining $3,000 a month. Now I ‘be been told the health foundation money has run out ( even though I was told I was good until July).

Starting Obinutuzumab infusions

I have been taking Imbruvica for @3years for CLL with good results. I'm going to start the Obinutuzumab infusions in January. I've had very little side effects from the imbruvica and am wondering how I might react to the Obinutuzumab. Any advice on what to expect and on diet, etc?

going to the dentist

I have not had my teeth cleaned since I started taking Imbruvica five months ago. It’s time to schedule a cleaning. question: do you guys do anything differently - ie - alert dental technician? - take some sort of extra precautions? - or? Thank you.

In my country now is available Imbruvica (from recently), and the hematologist said probably her next treatment will be with Imbruvica.

Imbruvica side effects

I'm looking to see if anyone else that is taking imbruvica has cuts and sores on their fingers. How does anyone or is there any remedy. I've used a lot of creams. Khiel's is the present one that is supposed to be the best. I've also used working hand. Please help. Very painful.

Stomach Issues

I do take Omeprazole with my Imbruvica 140mg each day. My Oncologist advised me to take a probiotic and see if that could help. I did that and changed my diet 2 weeks ago and felt great!

Imbruvica and other cancers

Anyone have experience with Imbruvica wrecking your immune system and making you more vulnerable to other cancers? Just curious.

Severe Anemia and Imbruvica

I have been on 400mm Imbruvica for 6 years fighting CLL/SLL. I understand most patients consider them the same, I do not as I am tested every 4 months for both during Labs. So, please know this is not a debate for me, I simply have symptoms of both in post Labs with my Oncology expert.

Water intake

I'm taking my Imbruvica at 7 PM with my last cup of water for the day.I make certain that I drink 12 cups of water during the day....half of it during the morning and the rest during the early afternoon. I still need to get up about 3 times a night. Is this normal?

Calquence and flatulence

For a 2017 lymphoma diagnosis, I was on Imbruvica for 3 years. The past 2 years I have been on Calquence. The past 4 months or so, I have had increased flatulence. The oncologist said it was likely related to the medication. Has anyone else experienced this?

Lymphodema

Happy to say I've been off the Imbruvica for 9 months. In Remission. YEAH. HOWEVER, have really bad edema, now in both legs and thighs. Just got checked out to be sure I don't have blood clots. Thanks goodness NO to that. But has anyone heard about a "lymphedema clinic"?

cramping

I’ve been on acalabrutinib for about two weeks and on Imbruvica for approximately 6 months before that. In the past couple of weeks I have been having cramping in my legs, feet and back. This evening the muscles in my stomach cramped.

Diverticulitis treatment and CLL

The pharmacist will call my heme/oncology doctor to ask if I should adjust the imbruvica dose while on Cipro but I wonder if I should take Cipro at all. I'm not aware of any allergies to meds. And yes I am anxious to start the meds!

Imbruvica

I was on Imbruvica for a few years with very little side effects, fatigue and headaches. I had them and they were hardly noticed. I have been off the Imbruvica over a year and now my headaches are back and they are painful. Is there anything that help relieve the headaches??

More CLL patients are using Calquence vs Imbruvica

Calquence gaining market share on Imbruvica. More CLL patients are using Calquence vs Imbruvica and it is having an impact on AbbVie stock. https://www.forbes.com/sites/greatspeculations/2022/08/03/whats-happening-with-abbvie-stock/?sh=19acedba5682

A Fib on Imbruvica how common is it

Have had a few bouts of A Fib . Some pretty severe. Is it common with Ibrutinib as a side effect ? Secondly can it result in increased risk of clots. Thanks.
