Iron Man Bolton update ....finally!

Well, the boy did it!!! Iron Man Bolton completed and CLLSA have some great funds coming their way ....all for us to benefit from!!!!

It was a tough old day; the swim was easy, the bike ride was gruelling and the marathon was hard work but manageable. Throughout the tough parts Dan said that his thoughts were, "MUM NEVER GAVE UP DURING CHEMO SO I CAN'T! " That made me cry....

Thanks for your support guys. It was great to neat @debs and have coffee as well as loads of support for Dan! Really appreciate!

We hopefully will all benefit in some way from this fundraiser! Thanks Dan!

He's definitely a superhero Bethan! :) :) :)

That is an amazing feat and to do it for all of us and CLL is an incredibly generous thing to do.

I hope you don't mind but I'm posting his fundraising page link here in the hope that more people will support him. justgiving.com/fundraising/...

It's a great photo of you both on his page Bethan, you're both looking really happy. :)

Awesome! though the only part of your description of Dan’ day that I can relate to is grueling. I can’t imagine doing even one part of an Ironman. Thank you Dan!

What a guy! 🏆!

Well done Dan and his mam....😘

Thanks for putting the link up again Jackie. I’ve tried twice to donate and had such a faff I had to give up. I’ll try again.

I’ve tried yet again to donate without success!

Just Giving just won’t send me a new password I’m afraid so I can’t log in.

Sorry, I tried! 🙁

Hey!🙂

Dan is an Ironman, and you're his rightly proud Ironmum!

It was great to meet with you all on race day, and lovely to chat over a coffee in between yelling support at the athletes!😁

Dan did a great race, with the impressive, added bonus of raising valuable funds for the CLLSA...well done, Dan!

Oh...entries are open now for next year's Ironman UK....just saying!😉

It was really nice meeting you!
