Raised nearly £1000 for CLLSA!

Hey everyone - I haven't posted here before, so please excuse my intrusion. Actually I work at HU, leading the team that brings new partners on board like the CLLSA.

The reason I am posting is because on Sunday I cycled 100 miles in the Ride100 London event and I did that to support this great organisation. A couple of years back my father in law got diagnosed with CLL, which was pretty scary for all of us as we didn’t know anything about the condition. Eventually his lymphocyte count got so high that he needed treatment, which made him very ill but he eventually recovered and is now doing much better. Going through this ordeal was tough, but he and my mother in law found this community and they got a lot of advice and support from it, which helped them through those tough times. Its actually part of the reason that I joined the HU team.

So I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who support each other on this site and in this community and I thought I would try to give back by raising some money. I am very close to the target, so if anyone is feeling generous please do help out - I know Nick and the CLLSA would be very grateful.

Thank you Phil, for making that effort for our organisation. Very pleased to hear that your company and this community have both been able to help your family. It's such a small world at times :)
