Also even if FISH shows an unfavorable marker it does not mean bad prognosis inevitable. Lots of stories of outliers...

Thank you for posting this DriedSeaweed. Those of us with unfavorable prognostics need to remember this. ❤

It is common for your lymph count to bounce around when it is under 30,000 (30). Not very significant, but it’s always nice to see them bounce down. Nice numbers! Hopefully they indicate that you will have a long and uneventful period of watch and wait!

Thank you for your encouragements MsLockYourPosts,Sandy and Lilica. I am new here, so I have to learn a lot about CLL. Fortunately there are lot of kind and helpful guys here, whom share their knowledges without any compensation. It is a huge help for those young people like me. Very often we just get a diagnose, some unknown scientific terminologies and not more. I am happy to find (thanks Doraaaaaa❤️) this amazing community. Thank you for you hospitality and help. As Chris said few days ago HOPE and WILL are the most important things. Furthermore there a lot of treatments which could help us. The medicine is developing very fast, so I belive that this solution will be here very soon. That’s why I have promised myself and my family, I will never give it up! So, just go ahead and positively!😉

Hi Tomster,

I was ecstatic to see when my numbers went down too! Even though my CLL specialist was not as excited as I was. (Whatever Dr. Brown) To piggyback on what Lilica said, I truly believe that this can be cured in our lifetime. There are so many developments in blood cancers that it is very reasonable to think that a cure is coming. Stay positive!
