You’re so right, we are definitely living in the lucky country.
We came out from Italy in 1957 for a better life. Mum and Dad used to say that they came to Australia for a better opportunity for their children. If Italy offered what Australia had we would still be there. They never regretted it, nor did us children.
Thanks, Jan. I had an ultrasound biopsy done in the middle of the lockdown here in the UK. It is "just" my CLL. I was so relieved, it was terribly stressful and scary.
Are u sure it's not menopause? I am 65 and been getting hot flashes since 42. My experts say some women suffer from them and never get rid of them. I am unfortunately one of those unlucky women. Acupuncture and homeopathy helps me.
I've only experienced one night sweat. It was awful.
Do you know the difference between hot flashes and nite sweats? 💕
I have never experienced hot flashes before as I was on HRT for many years
Due to a medical condition.
I have had many night sweats where you need to change your bedding in the night. The hot flashes are different with no sweating and also have them during the day. I don’t think it is anything to do with cll and will see my doctor if they continue.
Glad u know the difference...some do not. Can be confusing.
My hematologist for 11 years always asked me if I had night sweats. I finally asked why when I had one. It is a symptom they used to help stage (Rai) and decide if ready for treatment. Since I only had one in my 11th year of W&W, I didn't really pay attention. So when I was ready for treatment, she staged me at 3. If I had night sweats, she would have said 4 and probably would of had treatment earlier.
I found that many CLLers over the years, had night sweats. I was lucky not to have them.
It will be interesting for you to find out if they aren't related to ur CLL since it is a common side effect of NHL/CLL.
