Help! Tongue and lip ulcer

Started Ibrutinib 12 days ago. Receiving 3rd of 4 weekly Rituximab infusions this week.

Developed painful tongue ulcer about a week ago. Any ideas to reduce pain???

Hey, tovtovtov......I am on ibrutinib 3rd week....will recieve retux...once a month...only a rash for me so far ,otherwise feel great. Is your ulcers from ibrutinib or retuximab? Or insure

Don' t really since Iegan them concurrently. So glad your are feeling great. Stay strong!

Advise your doctor, it might be herpes simplex reactivation... you may need antiviral medication.

Yes, check with doctor if you haven't already done so (I see you posted 4 days ago).

(The only thing I found that helped me for bog standard mouth ulcers was Anbesol gel or liquid. Pharmasist will tell you if it's okay for you to use or not)

Thank you. Doctor prescribed "Magic Mouthwash" and 5 days of Diflucan (anti-fungal drug) yesterday. Seeing improvement.

So pleased you are seeing improvement and that you saw a doctor.. Mouth ulcers can be so painful and prevent you enjoying food and drink. Hope they soon heal completely.
