Hi everyone I hope you’re all as well as you can be. We are still on our journey for being assessed for a liver transplant. it’s been a long one but at least we are still on it😁
So the hubby had a stress test in nuclear med at the QE Birmingham. They said that 17% May get called back for another scan. I’m sure I heard the words ‘resting scan’. Does this mean anything to anyone and if so is it what it says a scan when your resting rather than post treadmill.
Any help will be appreciated xx

Yes, it's another cardiac stress test where they test the heart with drugs rather than with exercise. I think Miles on here had this version of the heart stress test. bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...
Thanks for asking - I am absolutely shattered, think the last 9+ months (& the rest) are catching up with me. Hubby isn't doing too badly, gradually getting better day by day. We are off to clinic again next week and he should be coming off some of his first 3 months meds.
I can see why they focus on the heart and lung stress test, my hubby has lost all his fitness and is frequently out of puff and with rapid heart rate - even getting dressed makes him puff and pant due to exertion which all the doctors have said is normal.
