Hello BLT People. What would be advised about travelling if one has a well-compensated liver and no symptoms at all (clear blood labs, ultrasound etc)? Are there still risks one should be overly concerned about?

If well compensated and your doctor is happy for you to do so I think the only issue would be the cost of travel insurance

Thank you Ubwa. I thought it might come down to flight insurance.

I have had to use trains for various reason about 100 round trip. I try to tevel out of rush hour or very early in the mooring. I choose careful where I sit ie away from youngsters. Wear a mask. I am in the process of booking a ferry to Ireland.

While no one can say there is no risk there is, Get plenty of hand sanitisers. You have to live your life while being more cautious than the general public.

At the end of the day if's your call. A doctor will probably not want to go in case should something happen. S/he could be sued.

Anyway good luck with your choice.
