Just had second fibroscan and really pleased with results. Last readings were 20.4 and now they are down to 10.9 CAP score is higher but the Nurse said this is the fat around the liver and just need to get rid of it but more concerned about pka score. I'm determined to get it down further 🍌🚶‍♂️🚴‍♂️💯. Well chuffed 👌

Well you have already done the hard work as it’s extremely tough to get that liver stiffness down so I’m sure you will smash getting your weight down even more and improving your overall health that much more too given the strides you have already made.

Thanks Grassroots 112.I think having to get the stiffness level down has made me more determined to get it down further after all the hard work and getting the finished result. Fingers crossed I'll smash it again. Onwards and Upwards 🤞

I'm not sure how it works I think you still have the scarring with cirrhosis and the fibroscan reads liver stiffness. You need to ask your consultant or GP about this.

Thank you I'm assuming as long it's not getting stiffer it's no worsening I will ask
