Is there a group for Osteonecrosis

I do have PBC but now also have SONK which is Spontaneous Osteonecrosis of the Knee. Possibly caused by Steroids that I take for COPD. I've stopped those, even though it's not good for my breathing. The surgeon in NZ has put me forward for an urgent knee transplant. The answer from the DHB is go to Physio - no replacement. Having read up on Physio, it is apparently only of use in the early stages. I've been suffering for 18 mths and only been diagnosed via MRI. If you don't have the ends of the bone debrided and a replacement put in place, you can have broken or chipped bones. Is there a group for Osteonecrosis, that I can go to and, or is there use yet for stem cells to replace dead bone?
